Privacy policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Written in plain language — no surprises.

01Who we are

Menulo provides QR menus and table ordering to restaurants. This policy covers the Menulo website, the restaurant dashboard and the guest menus restaurants publish with Menulo.

If you have a question about this policy, write to hello@menulo.app.

02What we collect

Restaurant accounts: names, work email addresses, roles and the menu, table and order data you enter.

Guests: the items in an order, any note left for the kitchen, and an optional first name to help staff find you. Guests never need an account, and we don't ask for contact details to browse or order.

Usage data: basic, aggregated information such as QR scans per table and page performance, used to run and improve the service.

03How we use it

To deliver orders to the right kitchen and table, and show restaurants their sales and menu performance.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use guest orders for advertising.

04Who we share it with

The restaurant you order from sees your order. We use a small number of infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery) under contracts that require them to protect your data.

05Retention & security

Data is stored in the EU and encrypted in transit and at rest. Restaurants can export or delete their data at any time; guest order details are kept only as long as the restaurant needs them for its records.

06Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. If you ordered as a guest, you can also contact the restaurant directly.
